Arnie Klaus first moved to Kohala on Hawai’i Island in 2009 while working with a sustainable seafood company. He moved back to Washington State to manage the Marine Resources Department for San Juan County - an archipelago of islands and the surrounding marine waters. Arnie moved back to Kohala to focus on Real Estate and to apply his successful skills in sustainable development of affordable housing and land conservation. Arnie’s volunteer activities have included: Reading tutor at Kohala Elementary School, Hawaii island TED 2021 conference organizer, Interpretive educational designer for Anna Ranch Heritage Center (Waimea) and ‘Iole (Kapa’au), Assisting Feed Hawaii & Kohala Village HUB with organizational and web support, Sustainable Organizations Web Designer - www.bigisland.solutions
